Sarvaa Organics was created in the kitchen of Derek Van Atta in 2011. After years of suffering from autoimmunity, he developed a one-of-a-kind gift to turn foods into medicine. Derek searched the earth for the most powerful superfoods he could find, creating superfood formulas that enabled him to thrive. Curiosity grew about him. Others wonder how you can cultivate such a glow of vitality yourself…soon friends, family, and then even strangers were asking him to share his secrets. Thus a business of service was born.

A few years later he brought on Joshua Hoffman as his understudy. Joshua shared Derek’s journey self-healing. His young life had been filled with allergies, sensitivities, and bouts of autoimmunity, eventually leading him to also learn to use food as medicine. A match made in heaven’s kitchen, together the two developed the tiny business into a national reaching, one of a kind brand curating the most effective formulas on the market for people who were truly ready to heal.

This two person team built the company as an act of service to those who suffered from autoimmunity and imbalance, learning the ropes of offering their formulas at a larger scale, in stores and finally as an online business. In 2024, Joshua took over the company from Derek and now owns and operates it.
